The restaurant's architecture reflects the tipical “ladin” traditions, resuming shapes of the ancient barns, with perfect harmony amongst wood and painted walls, patterned with frames and decored with murals by painters, of which Fassa valleys has a great and eld tradition. The attention in materials and ancient mountain elements makes this restaurant unmatched, all the original timber structure, recovered and rearranged as in the classic "Tobié", the ancient barn of Fassa.
The Bar Room, with an hardwood counter, and a tree trunk shaped by time and water, the bottle-shelf obtained from an old beam and the sticks used to dress rye-bread, and the painting depicting the twice-World Champion Jimmy Pacher flying over Gran Vernel peak.
The restaurant hall, timber structured as well, has a beautiful painting derived from a 1952 picture of the "Ciajàa" and "Tobié", buildings of the thirties, the vault slightly decored and wood furniture with fir and larch fragrance, fusing with Chef Angelo's flavoured courses.
To dress up the environment we have wood carvings by local artists, peculiar cutted furniture and even in the bathroom we recovered eld doors with “strapacins”, the original latches.
Nothing happened along, no déjà vu.
So in summer, as in winter, when temperature is mild, you can have lunch outside on the sunny terrace, furnished with nice wood tables and benches, and with an incredible view over Sella and Pordoi Group, that erct surrounding the restaurant in all their majesty.
